Fall Festivities

I feel like I say this a lot, but this month has flown by! I can’t believe it’s nearly October and almost time for my marathon. I’m very excited to head to Minnesota next week to see our friends and run the race. I’ll be sure to post about it after.

In the meantime, we’ve been enjoying some lovely fall weather (and beautiful sunsets) here in New England. Mike and I took advantage of it last Sunday and went apple picking at a local orchard. It was a really fun fall day!

Some of us couldn’t wait until the apples were picked to eat them!

That’s better … double-fisting tasty fall fruit!

We also made friends with this high-stepping llama at the farm! In addition to him/her, we encountered a rather aggressive miniature horse that really wanted an apple.

We also got to go up in the Prospect Hill Tower, right near our house in Somerville, to catch some pretty cool views of the city of Boston!

How have you been enjoying fall?

I love that I know the tower you are talking about and have walked around it myself. I haven’t talked to you in so long I wanted to check in and say good luck with the marathon. You will do well I know! Can’t wait to see the pictures. Enjoy the experience and have fun!! Miss you..

Hi Linda–so good to hear from you! Loved seeing all the pictures on Facebook of your family at Jason’s wedding. Looked like such a beautiful day! Thanks for the well wishes. I will be sure to report back when we get home next week!
